Popular yacht charter and sailing holiday company Sunsail has launched a new choice of flotilla sailing holidays for adults only.

In recent years Sunsail has seen a growth in demand for adult only holidays that attract couples and groups of friends as well as parents who are taking a holiday without their children.

To cater for these travellers, in June and July 2016, Sunsail is offering two adult only flotilla routes in Greece, for customers who want the benefits of a flotilla holiday in the Mediterranean in a child-free environment.

Take a look at the itineraries below and see if you’ll be exploring Greece next summer.

26 June 2016 – Kefalonia seven nights’ itinerary:

Sunsail’s base in Lefkas on the Greek Ionian, is the starting point for a one week Kefalonia flotilla. It includes a stop at Fiscardo, a picturesque, busy little town with a great variety of restaurants, bars and a museum; the town of Spartahori on Meganissi, perched high above Spilia Bay with unbeatable view across mainland Greece. The Flotilla also stops off at Lake Melissani where sailors can watch for Loggerhead Turtles and enjoy the traditional tavernas on this stunning Island. On your route you’ll stop in Sivota, place where Odysseus landed and Evgiros with Cave of the Nymphs is nearby.

3 July 2016 – Kalamos seven nights’ itinerary:

This flotilla is perfect for inexperienced flotilla sailors and skippers who want to brush up on their skills exploring the islands of Meganissi and Kalamos. Mountainous, pine-forested Kalamos has an air of serenity about it. It’s a quiet, unspoilt island with few inhabitants and only the monastery of Episkopi to explore. Port Athene lies on the north-eastern coast of Meganissi and is a fine place to moor for the night while exploring the coastline of this dreamy island.
